Westbrook’s Adult Education Program continues to grow, especially in the CTE programs through WRVC.  There are currently about 150 students enrolled in courses that include English language, diploma classes, and heavy equipment.

Westbrook's program is gaining positive publicity and will be featured in an upcoming issue of Maine Biz.  The program will also receive an award from the Association of General Contractors, a group that holds a 5K with proceeds given to scholarships for adult education programs. Additionally, 13 adult students received their CNA license (13 out of 13 passed!) and participated at a pinning ceremony on Sept 19, 2019.

Shelli Pride, the new Director of Adult Education for both Westbrook and Gorham will be our guest and speaker at our lunch meeting on October 8, 2019.  We hope you can join us to meet Shelli and hear more about the great work being done in the area of Adult Education in Westbrook and Gorham and through Westbrook Regional Vocational Center.
