Westbrook Downtown Coalition

Shannon is a Cornell University historic preservation and urban planning specialist graduate. She was hired as summer intern for Westbrook downtown coalition for 10 weeks with goals to help re-analyze the myriad of downtown revitalization plans developed since the end of Urban Renewal, plant the first Historical Walking Trail marker/kiosk along the boardwalk, refresh the boardwalk itself, and help Westbrook launch a new business on-boarding program in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce, city economic development team, and Visit Portland.
